Some people asked me if it is possible to open up, edit, create vector based shapes and files in paint.net. The answer is: paint.net is a bitmap based graphics program so you can’t open or create any vector based images with it. Please read THIS if you want to create vectors with a free program.
If you want to vectorize an image go over to http://vectormagic.stanford.edu/ to convert your bitmap images into vector images. This is a free service, so check it out.This service is no longer for free

wie soll er da ein Video zeigen, wenn geschrieben steht, dass es NICHT geht, Vektorgraphiken mit PAINT.net zu erstellen. Da ist meines Erachtens nach ein Video sinnlos.

I refer to your recommendation given for free vector graphic conversion offered by Stanford University. This service is not longer for free. Users have to sign in and to pay a fee.
